YouTube Comment Picker

Draw fair, random giveaway winners from a video's comments, with keyword filters and one entry per person.

How to use the Comment Picker

  1. 01

    Paste the video link

Use the link to the video where the giveaway comments were posted.

  2. 02

    Set the rules

Choose how many winners to draw, whether each person gets one entry, and an optional keyword entries must include.

  3. 03

    Pick winners

Press Pick winners. Comments are loaded once, so you can draw again without reloading.

How the draw stays fair

Winners are drawn with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so every eligible comment has the same chance. With "one entry per person" on, people who commented many times don't get extra chances.

The picker reads top-level comments. Replies aren't counted, which matches how most giveaways ask people to enter.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick a random comment on YouTube?

Paste the video link, choose how many winners you want and press Pick winners. The tool loads the comments and draws winners at random.

Can I require a keyword or hashtag?

Yes. Enter a keyword and only comments that contain it (ignoring upper and lower case) can win.

Are replies included?

No. Only top-level comments are counted. Replies to other comments are not entries.

Is there a limit on comments?

The picker loads up to 20,000 of the most recent comments, which covers almost every giveaway. The number loaded is shown before you draw.

Why does it say comments are turned off?

The creator has disabled comments on that video, so there are no entries to pick from.
