  1. 01

    Enter two channels

Use an @handle, a channel link or a link to one of each channel's videos.

  2. 02

    Compare

Both channels load at once. The leader on each row is highlighted, with how far ahead it is.

  3. 03

    Share the result

The page link contains both channels, so anyone who opens it sees the same comparison with fresh numbers.

Comparing channels fairly

Lifetime totals favour older channels. The recent rows, built from each channel's last 30 uploads, show how the channels are doing now: how often they post, what a typical video gets, and how much of the audience still watches.

Median views are the view count of the middle video, so one viral upload doesn't skew the picture. Engagement is likes plus comments divided by views across those uploads.

Frequently asked questions

How do I compare two YouTube channels?

Enter both channels' @handles or links and press Compare. The stats appear side by side, with the leader on each row highlighted.

Can I share a comparison?

Yes. After comparing, copy the page link. It includes both channels, and whoever opens it sees the comparison with the latest numbers.

How is the upload rate worked out?

It's the number of uploads per week across each channel's last 30 uploads. Check Latest upload too: a channel that stopped posting keeps the rate it had when it was active.

Why are the subscriber numbers rounded?

YouTube rounds public subscriber counts for channels with more than 1,000 subscribers, so the comparison uses the same rounded numbers.
